Carlos moved to New York after being recruited to DDB New York during ihaveanidea.org’s Portfolio Night in 2008. He spent the next few years working on brands like Tropicana, Hertz, Exxon Mobil, Reebok, New York Lottery, Clorox, United States Tennis Association and the Art Director’s Club.
His work is partially credited with DDB New York’s creative resurgence, winning the agency’s first awards in over 19 years and helping the agency to be named as ‘2013’s Agency to Watch’ by Creativity Online and being the Most Awarded US Agency at the 2013 LIA. In 2014 he also received awards at Cannes, LIA and the Clios and this year at the New York Festivals.
After a brief stint working on Budweiser & Google at Anomaly NY, Carlos made the move to work under two of his heroes Rob Reilly and Eric Silver at McCann.
